Nakuru County has entered into a partnership agreement with the Everton Football Club Community Group to develop and promote football talent in the county.

The county administration engaged the UK-based football club’s community volunteers to explore possible areas of collaboration.

The partnership will include grassroots football development, sports tourism, brand exposure, community engagement, talent identification, youth development, and sports facility development.

The Everton FC team was in the country to engage with various groups, including schools in Nakuru. The county hopes the partnership will put them on the world map by having Everton FC come to play with local teams and help develop football, stadiums, and academies.

The partnership is also expected to boost tourism in the county.
